We are proud to offer our latest creation: a wonderful Backgammon game, created specifically for the iPad.

True Backgammon is a fully featured Backgammon game, made to support all of the new possibilities which the iPad device offers. The large touch screen makes it possible to play Backgammon by dragging and dropping the checkers, like on a real board. You can even move two checkers at once, using two fingers, or double tap a stone if only one destination point is possible.

Play a full match up to 15 points, against the computer or against a friend. Choose playing with or without doubling cube, select light or dark checkers, or play in clockwise or counter clockwise direction. In other words, you choose how you want to play.

Believe us, the game experience is as close to playing on a real backgammon board as it could get. It is amazing!

However, this is version 1.0 of True Backgammon, so this is just the beginning of the backgammon journey. We love to hear your ideas, suggestions (and even possible bug reports) and promise to work hard to make True Backgammon the best Backgammon for the iPad.

As promised, this version contains a fully rewritten AI. It's far from perfect, but much better than the old one. Improvement in this area will continue.

Improvements:
* Dice random numbers are now created by divide and round instead of modulo (better distribution)
* Unlimited match points option added
* Fast animation option now also fasten dice roll
* New game AI (far from perfect, but a good start)
* Final match score is now written in red color
* Score opens after each finished game (not only after a won match)
* Hidden feature to email .sgf match data file (triple tap the score box)

Bug fixes:
* In rare cases a checker hung somewhere in the board
* Computer wanted to double even with doubling cube option disabled
