Moon blocks (Jiaobei) are wooden divination tools from China, which are used to answer a yes or no question. Moon blocks are made of woods and carved into a crescent shape. Each block has two sides - Yin the round side, and Yang the flat side. Moon blocks are commonly used in Chinese traditional religion and are easily found in Chinese temples and home shrines, to request an answer from the gods.

In a divination, the querent kneels and says their name, date of birth, residence, and question while cupping the blocks between their hands in prayer. After the querent poses the question to the gods, the blocks are dropped to the floor, and answers are produced by the position of moon blocks.

There are three possible answers that moon blocks can produce, according to the position of moon blocks: Divine answer, Angry answer, and Laughing answer. Each answer contains different meanings representing the god's will.
