Fling the arrow to the apples before they hit the ground. If they hit the ground, the game is over. It will provide your hit to miss ratio. Try to keep your hit ratio at 100% while increasing your score.
See, here is the thing. As the game continues it gets progressively harder. Your first few times won't be such a challenge, but once you go for high score it will take a lot more precision because you won't have much time to recover a mistaken shot. As it becomes more challenging you'll learn to master redirecting your arrow in mid air, because once the apples really get moving if you see the arrow miss, you better redirect it.
